Coming week: All over the place

Thanks to the Media competing for website traffic and TV ratings, expect the madness on Wall Street to continue.  Which makes this Master ponder, maybe the Legion of Doom is at work here?

Sounds ridiculous doesn't it?  But maybe CNBC is the Legion of Doom?

Take CNBC which posted an article on Friday (Stock SellOff Offers Good Chance To Seek Bargains) to Sunday's Doom and Gloom article about Stagflation and how stocks suffered in the 70's. 

But with the constant feed of headlines and whoring of news sites to get the most page clicks, is all of the information we are reading truly relevant?

Some of it yes, some of it no. 

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that $4+ gas, record grocery prices, and a failing housing and financial market just might influence the market.  The average Wal-Mart shopper could tell you that.  So for where we are at, it's not a big surprise.  However Friday felt like a overreaction to the Unemployment report (read Relax and thank you Barry - Teens impact Unemployment Numbers) and the oil concern with the Middle East is what it is -- always crappy.

Inflation, Stagflation, sounds to me more like -- Masterbation. 

Fellow Stockmasters, for months we've been pushing our subscribers to only to have a small portion of your money in the market.  Aren't we cool right? 

Lex Luthor: He said: You can print money, manufacture diamonds, and people are a dime a dozen, but they'll always need land. It's the one thing they're not making anymore of.

How true that is and if there's any stocks out there trading at a true bottom, it's the housing & builiding sector.  Pick any of them (TOL, BZH, PHM, BJZ, KBH, HOV), even the superstores that support them via Lowe's (NYSE:LOW) or Home Depot (NYSE:HD), these stocks in the long-run will recover.

But for now Masters, if Superman is the Bull Market, then Bizarro is the Bear market, and the Bizarro's have been on fire lately. For investors hoping to buy securities and watch their values increase, forget about it, we are living in a Bizarro World.  But as we know, Bizarro is perhaps the lamest and dumbest member of the Legion of  Doom.  The guy speaks worse than Yoda, imagine how bad his breath must smell, I'm sure he's a close talker? His reign will come to an end, it always does.

Of course the worst could happen...

The Cheetah: With Luthor's brilliant mutation device hooked up to the SuperFriends' computer, the Justice League satellite will beam its rays all over the world.
Bizarro: Turn all Earth people into Bizarros and Cheetahs.

The Cheetah: And all of them working for our evil purr-poses.
