Cyber Monday doesn't help the Online Retail Stocks (AMZN, EBAY, OSTK)

Ice Cube - Kill at WillAnother crap day on the market and despite the kick off to the online shopping season known as Cyber Monday, the big online stocks all got jacked. So, what to do, buy on weakness or kick them to the curb? (OSTK, EBAY, AMZN, SHLD)

The online retail stocks got jacked, today, like Jacking for Beats:

Overstock.com, Inc. NASDAQ OSTK 9.17   -1.32 (-12.58%)

eBay Inc. NASDAQ EBAY 12.63   -0.50 (-3.77%)

Amazon.com, Inc. NASDAQ AMZN 41.99   -0.71 (-1.66%)

Sears Holdings Corporation NASDAQ SHLD 33.07   -3.18 (-8.77%)

Going into "Cyber Monday," the unofficial kickoff to the online shopping season, Apple Inc.'s (Nasdaq: AAPL) products appeared to be doing well. Apple has a 1,000-employee plant in Elk Grove.

Apple held nine of the top 25 spots on Amazon.com's list of the best-selling electronics, with the 8GB iPod Touch at No. 4 and the 4GB third-generation silver iPod nano at No. 10. The best-sellers ahead of the iTouch on the list were Amazon's (Nasdaq: AMZN) wireless Kindle reading device at No. 1, and two GPS devices from Garmin Ltd. at No. 2 and No. 3.

As retailers head into a truncated shopping season, with five fewer shopping days (and one less weekend) between Thanksgiving and Christmas than last year, stores will have to act fast. For e-commerce it's an even tighter schedule since people need to buy early enough to ensure that presents being shipped make it under the tree in time

The talking heads are going to be back and forth on Cyber Monday until we get the actual results, so if you buy any of the online retail stocks today, its a roll of the dice.
