The Masters Favorite 52-Week Lows for 10/16/2007
Let's recap the worst performing stocks of the day and see if anything in the trash is worth mentioning. The NASDAQ had 95 (click to view) new lows today, how's that for Bernanke slapping the market around, it was coming. Out of all the companies falling off the wagon, the Masters like the best following best:
Volvo (VOLV) hit $18.74, how could that happen?
Dominos Pizza Inc. (DPZ) finished the day at $14.29 falling 13% and now is backup 2.7% after-hours. They screwed the earnings call today after announcing Q3 profit fell 55% from the comparable period of 2006, which Domino's attributes to increased interest expenses from higher borrowing under the company's new debt facility and rising commodity costs, like dairy. That and their pizza sucks but I guess the CEO didn't want to make himself look any worse. We'll wait for their shares to get to $11.
Big 5 (BGFV) hit $17.49, sure retail is slow but its Big 5, they'll recover.
Jamba Juice (JMBA) at $6.27, that stock has to bounce, plus I love their drinks.
NutriSystem (NTRI) at $30.22, come on people, NTRI will comeback, America can't put the hot dogs down.
USA Truck (USAK) hit $14.34, they'll drive back for lack of a better funny term or are you saying 'hit the road Jack'. I'll stop now, relax.
The NYSE had 100 new 52-week (click to view) lows today, I like JCP, JBX, TAP, NKE, JWN, and RAD for potential comeback stories.
